Kudos to you for finishing this post. I have been teaching yoga since 2011. One of the things I often say in class is that the most important thing I can teach you is to listen to your body. On the mat is a good place to learn. I have often thought that it is a strange thing. The way Christianity is such an embodied faith. Jesus came in Mary‘s body. He walked the Earth in a physical body. He took our pain into his body. And yet so often our faith tradition teaches us, directly or indirectly, not to trust our body. so blessings on your journey toward Ward integration.

I’m not sure I could ever teach yoga to others, but I’m so thankful for the good teachers I’ve learned from! Thanks for your comment. I so relate, and it’s comforting to know that other people think deeply about these things.♥️

Cheers to all of us figuring out how to listen to/become friends with our bodies again! (I know yoga sure has helped me a lot)

Also, I am always so glad to see writing from you here! 💛

It's so weird to me when I come across someone who can't relate to this separation I feel. They are total unicorns to me, but perhaps that's how I seem to them, haha. I so appreciate your encouragement, friend 😍
